What do you guys think about Top player fan boys (meant to post this in general)

Recently I started watching tons of osu replays on youtube, While watching these replays I sometimes go on the comment sections to view the reactions of the community. Most of the time I see people comment about how great the play was and how good the player is. But sometimes there is that one guy in the comment that tries to discredit the play by bringing up another player's score. I mostly ignore these comments. Of course, these fanboys are in every community and have been there forever. But I just wanna know, do any of you guys find this shit annoying or does this motivate top players to do even better. Thank you for reading this thread.

i mostly dont mind them. but i just cant stand fanboys comparing their favorite player to other players. i mean their favorite player doesnt care but apparently they do. so dumb.

They are fine until they compare and try to bring down other top players saying that there favorite player is better. I found it funny when a player unironically had to compare vaxeis because maybe play not being good because whitecat had better acc on his play

they aren't any harm in my eyes. they're quite funny sometimes and I also feel most of these are youngsters and they don't know any better.

I find it actually quite annoying
like imagine you make an amazing play then some cookie stan is like: "Omg loser cookiezi once got like 500x combo he was ahead of his time" like mate yes he was but this man made better play currently and that's all that matters

other then annoying "my favorite player is better then you" posts i mostly am fine with it

I don't mind, unless they are being annoying

Like, comparing a player to another player, exaggerating things too far, you got the idea..

I mean I don't really pay much attention to those comments... as long as they are respectful, well written, and logical then i'm fine with it. If it is not and its downgrading and even hateful at times, I detest these comments. Especially with what happened to mathi and everyone hating on him for farming his way to rank 1 and sent hateful comments that made him quit, that is not ok. But if it is something like the examples u gave, I mean its not much of a big deal.
