Why I think this matters

When mapping and in various other places sprites look pretty awful see (1920x1080 in this case)



Another case is the new playmode sprite (which is rather unfortunate since its next to all the pretty text)



Suggested Feature

A better resizing algorithm or at least offer alternatives in options for those of us that would be willing sacrifice the performance for prettier graphics. (because I have no clue if this would significantly affect performance.)

What game resolution are you running at in this case?

This case occurs at 1920x1080 borderless, However it also appears when doing 1024x768 windowed.

The only way to improve beyond the current level is to add mipmapping using a software based renderer for initial mipmap levels. This is possible, but a bit of work, and considering the issues are only visible in very few places, quite low priority for me.

Well, thanks for the time you spent looking into this and I hope you consider it when you have time for low priority things.
