Well...
since my modding experiences aren´t very high, I nearly found nothing bad in this diff xD
except...
03:37:852 (1) - it looks a bit ugly... may make it better?it is good for me not going to change it
And you used a lot Kiai time - reduce it a bit :) i don't think so o.o i didn't overuse it D:

[Memories]
00:19:540 (2,3) - the alingment seems a bit wrong - check it^^ yappa fixed
well... thats again all sorry D:

[Together]
 I find nothing -.-

Sorry for this literally "bad" mod but i´m really no experienced modder... I hope it comes with the time
ty for trying \:D/

Memories

  • 00:43:306 (1,2,3,4) - Prova a centrare questa pattern:
02:01:228 (1) - Fai iniziare questo spinner a 02:02:008 come hai fatto nelle altre diff.
02:27:332 (1) - Fai iniziare questo spinner a 02:26:163 come hai fatto nella Alone.
03:05:125 (3) - Capovolgi questo slider verticalmente. (stessa cosa per quello successivo)

Together

  • 00:33:176 (7) - Muovi questo cerchio sotto l'inizio del (5). (x:452 y:108)
    02:38:631 (1) - ^

Memories

  • 01:34:735 (1) - Togli la new combo.

    02:21:683 (1) - Togli la new combo.
    02:33:956 (1) - ^

You should be using your ears, not a bpm analyzer.
Topic Starter
Lally
i always use it, and i never got problems in my maps ,only when i doublet it alone, also, i'm not going in any case to change it lel if you mean this by posting here.

and btw ears are not accurate to calculate bpm in any case, since we have programs to do it with full precision.
Xakyrie
With bpm it's not a case of whether or not you prefer something, it needs to be corrected if it happens to not fall under the appropriate and necessary rules for ranking. I don't mean to cause you any trouble, I just think this should be fixed before it gets ranked incorrectly.

  1. 00:15:254 (1,2,3) - This movement here seemed too much forced to me... :\ I was expecting an oval flow going downside because of 00:15:254 (1) - 's direction, though I had the exact opposite, and it felt a bit unpleasing to play for me... What about rearranging the pattern using an arc pattern going downwards? It would play quite smoother than the actual pattern, imho. Here's what I made, see if you like it!

  2. 01:30:450 (1) - Well, considering the colorhax you are using right there, the color of this combo does not really go well, considering it has the same color of the previous combo... You should totally change the color to the tourquoise one, to follow the azure--->tourquoise scheme... Remember to reset all the colors if you do this!
  3. 01:44:086 (2,3,1) - It could be just me, though this pattern doesen't really flow that smooth, the symmetry you used seemed quite "forced" to me, as it doesen't really follow that well 01:44:086 (2,3) - 's flow... What about instead making this pattern a symmetric one, using some curved sliders plus a wave slider for 01:47:982 (3) - ? It would definitely flow really smooth, and I personally like it a lot! :D See if you like it!

  4. 02:10:969 (1,2,3) - Another quite minor thing: instead of having 02:12:138 (2) - with the same curve of 02:10:969 (1) - , I would instead revert its curve, making a blanket with 02:13:306 (3) - and placing it above 02:10:969 (1) - : I think this goes quite smooth, considering the oval flow created by 02:10:969 (1) - ! While the current pattern seemed not to follow that well the oval flow created with 02:51:099 (1,2) - , I think that using instead a simple arc pattern without any blankets would play quite well, other than looking neat! 1. 00:51:488 (3) - Considering how this slider follows the weak beats there, I would personally rearrange the rhythm there to follow instead a bit more the vocals: it would fit really well, and it could be really fun to play as well! 2. 01:05:125 (1) - This is just a personal preference, feel free to ignore the whole point if you don't agree with it: what about moving this note at x:256 y:240, instead of the actual position? Seeing how these sliders are placed here, I would see quite better this note here, as it clearly follows the sliders' oval flow going downwards!
  3. 02:25:774 (5) - Why this 1/2 slider? I can't hear really anything at 02:25:969 - to emphatize, apart from that 1/2 little cymbal, which still sounds strange considering that in the wole pattern you have been following just the vocals. I would make them instead just a simple circle, it works quite well to emphatize the vocal chord there.
  4. 02:52:267 (2) - Hmm... I have a little idea there: instead of using a linear slider, why don't you curve this upwards and rearrange the whole pattern to make it an arc following the slider right ahead? It's a really little thing I really like how this goes, as it totally follows 02:51:099 (1) - 's oval flow and therefore flows really smoothly, other than looking pretty neat as well! Here's what I've done, see if you like it!

  5. 03:07:852 (3) - I really don't like how this slider actually plays, considering it just follows the weaks beats there and considering it skips some pretty important vocal pitch changes... What do you think about instead rearranging the whole slider splitting it up with a 1/2 repeated slider and a 1/1 circle after it? Rhythmically-wise it would definitely make more sense, other than being played quite well! Here's what I have done here, see if you like it!

The actual position doesen't again really make sense considering the pattern you are using here, and I would definitely see better this following the vocals instead of continuing 03:26:163 (3) - right ahead. (Remember to shorten by 1/2 as well if you apply!)
[Together]

  1. 00:12:917 (3,1) - I can't really understand why you lowered the spacing here... I can't really hear any musical element that asks for this, and it actually breaks the flow you started with 00:12:137 (1,2,3) -... :\ I would rather suggest to space them away, moving 00:12:137 (1,2,3) - at x:100 y:64, it should make much more sense moved in that position.
  2. 00:24:410 (x)- What about adding a note here? It's a quite little and personal thing, though it would follow the vocals being played right there pretty good, and it continues the pattern in a really good way! As said though that's optional, so feel free to ignore if you want!
  3. 00:40:969 (5,6,7,8) - You know what? I expected this whole pattern to go instead reversed, considering it'd go really well with the clockwise turn of 00:39:800 (3,4) - . The current pattern is ok, but it doesen't really go well as the pattern I've instead suggested here, imho... Using that clockwise turn would definitely make a really good pattern to play! 5. 01:32:787 (1,2,3,4,5) - Heh, I don't think that following the drums here instead of the vocals is a better solution. While it is rhythmically okay, it is quite confusing, as you have been following the vocals over the previous pattern... I'd instead rearrange the triplets so that they follow the vocals instead, as it goes really good and avoids this problem. Here's what you could do:

Thanks to the anti-clockwise movement here, I think this is really smooth to play, and it would continue really well the rest of the patten as well, considering that they always go in opposite directions. 7. 03:12:332 (1) - Well, even if this New Combo does actually follow the vocals, I don't think it is needed here... The whole part to emphatize is really small, thus the combo should be started in another point, like 03:11:553 (6) - , or you could just delete it. It's your choice here!
  8. 03:36:683 (6) - This is a quite little thing, though what about reverting this slider using CTRL+G? It felt quite smoother to play here, considering you have always used opposed sliders in this point, so I guess it won't really hurt, and on the other side I find instead quite cool to play, compared to the actual pattern!
About the BPM: while I concur with the fact that the song should have the BPM halfed, there's no need really to force that if the mapper really believes that the current BPM is better, as it's not really a reason to pop nor to unrank.
About the map, well done! It's simple yet quite clean, I like it! :p

I would make them instead just a simple circle, it works quite well to emphatize the vocal chord there. ok
  4. 02:52:267 (2) - Hmm... I have a little idea there: instead of using a linear slider, why don't you curve this upwards and rearrange the whole pattern to make it an arc following the slider right ahead? 4. 00:58:501 (1) - Oh well... Considering how the star pattern is done there, I think that this pattern would go on quite better if moved at the same position as 00:57:333 (4) - , continuing with an oval flow going upwards: in this way the whole pattern seems to go much smoother imho, and while I believe the current pattern's okay overall, I would really suggest you this pattern instead. Here's what I have done: see if you like it! oook

  5. 01:32:787 (1,2,3,4,5) - Heh, I don't think that following the drums here instead of the vocals is a better solution. While it is rhythmically okay, it is quite confusing, as you have been following the vocals over the previous pattern... I'd instead rearrange the triplets so that they follow the vocals instead, as it goes really good and avoids this problem. Here's what you could do: i like it :D kevin nabbo ha sbagliato un hisound su 01:35:904 (3) - whistle pls :3 <3

I fixed the pattern using this setting as well, see if you like it!

  6. 01:48:371 (1) - This is just a subjective thing, so feel free to ignore: What about reversing the whole slider and moving it so that its end matches 01:47:592 (7) - 's one? Thanks to the anti-clockwise movement here, I think this is really smooth to play, and it would continue really well the rest of the patten as well, considering that they always go in opposite directions. Here I have fixed the rest of the pattern as well to make it follow 01:48:371 (1) - better. See if you like it! it's cute but personaly i prefer my pattern here

  7. 03:12:332 (1) - Well, even if this New Combo does actually follow the vocals, I don't think it is needed here... The whole part to emphatize is really small, thus the combo should be started in another point, like 03:11:553 (6) - , or you could just delete it. It's your choice here! ook
  8. 03:36:683 (6) - This is a quite little thing, though what about reverting this slider using CTRL+G? It felt quite smoother to play here, considering you have always used opposed sliders in this point, so I guess it won't really hurt, and on the other side I find instead quite cool to play, compared to the actual pattern! i agree o3o
About the BPM: while I concur with the fact that the song should have the BPM halfed, there's no need really to force that if the mapper really believes that the current BPM is better, as it's not really a reason to pop nor to unrank.
About the map, well done! It's simple yet quite clean, I like it! :p

Okay, we had a small IRC conversation where we changed the artist to "Utada", putting "Hikaru" in the tags, we also changed a little new combo issue in the Easy diff and rearranged a pair of patterns in the Hard diff.
Considering that all the fixes that were made are really minor, I guess I can go ahead with this.

Ranked!

Good work on the map, simple yet well done :D

we discuss already about this, for me was right too :|

Oh well, even though "Utada" is the artist of the album as Colin suggested me the artist should still remain the same as before, to keep the consistency with all the other maps... Going to unrank this, fix it and I'll rerank.

EDIT: And reranked! Sorry for the trouble everyone :\
