[Archived] Local scores disappeared

Hi, this is my first time posting on the forums so go easy on me.

I played this morning and found that some of the songs in my collections disappeared and so I did F5 which re processed the maps I have and that was easily fixed. But the scores on them were gone.

Any fix?

Edit:
after reopening osu, the rank I have on them appeared (The uhmm, letter rankings like S, A, B, C) but every replay from the "local rankings" tab still isn't there.

Can you click on the "open osu! folder" button in osu!'s settings and check to see if you have any scores.db files with a long string of numbers at the end of the filename?

It doesn't look like you have any of the specific files I was referring to in that screenshot.

Try this instead: Close osu!, rename the "scores" file in your screenshot to something else, and then start the game again.

That may get your scores to appear again.

Doesn't seem like it worked, it just got rid of my scores

What do you mean it got rid of your scores? Doesn't your original post say your scores were already missing?

Only the scores from the maps that disappeared

deleting the file deleted the scores even on the maps that didn't disappear

Click on View at the top of your file explorer and then enable "Hidden items". Then inside your osu! folder you should see a new folder named "Data" that has an "r" folder inside.

Open that folder and you should see a bunch of .osr files. Try loading some of those into the game and check to see if any of them are the scores you are missing.

Also I said to rename the file, not delete it. Doing that should allow you to change its name back and get the scores that were appearing to appear again. You'll still be missing your other scores though.

This may have been it.
is there a way to load multiple files at the same time or do I have to keep opening them 1 by 1? cuz there are alot of files in here

I think you should be able to select and drag multiple into the osu! window all at the same time. I'm not 100% sure though.

are there any updates to this? did you get the local rankings back? the same thing happened to me with some maps, pressed f5, got the maps back, but not the local rankings.
