Given the musical base to this game, I'm surprised this hasn't come up yet. Post away!

Myself? I play piano and acoustic guitar (both self taught), and used to play flute for my school's band and orchestra but hated it so I haven't touched it since. I also dabble a bit in composing my own music - hope to write and perform my own songs at some point.

I have played the violin for five years and the piano for four (but I quit). I was the concert master for three years during middle school and my freshman year of high school but now I'm in the fourth stand because from 10th grade and up, all the sophomores, juniors, and seniors are all in the same group ^^

I played the trumpet in sixth grade, but absolutely couldn't stand my band teacher for 2 more years,
now I have an ocarina, that I play when I'm bored, but I want to learn to play piano really badly.

I first learnt to play piano at around 5 but I never got into it, and stopped before highschool. Started clarinet at the end of primary school and stuck with that for about 5 years, but got tired of it. Also played 3 recorders for a recorder ensemble (sopranino, descant and alto).

I'm a self taught guitar player, and I really enjoy playing self-arranged songs on acoustic guitar. I also own an electric guitar, but I really like my acoustic guitars.

My first insterment was drums (when i was a baby)that where pots and pans....

My second one was when i was in 3rd grade (8) was a violin...

My third one when i was 9 was the piano my aunt was teaching me....

And my fourth one was for my school band....THE TROMBONE!!! 5th grade (10)

Im thinking about taking the claranet (trumpet tuba ect) but what im really into is Bass instruments! =)

I remeber waking my friend up with my trombone!

When I was 6 or 7, I played flute. Since I'm... uhm... 10 or 11, I play keyboard. :)

Played Alto Sax for 8 years now, probably didn't advance much in skill the last 2 years.
Did play Baritone Sax for 1 year, but that was because we needed a bari for jazz ensemble.(Which ROCKS!)

Played piano for 3 years, quit.
