You may have been mentioned that taiko and osu!mania uses different scoring policy other than standard.
The experience table is actually not suitable for taiko and o!m for these reasons:
(1) taiko are sort of linear scoring, long songs do not score valuably higher; o!m is fixed max score. So it makes leveling extremely hard for taiko, for o!m it is the same. (though a little easier, for 1m total score is higher than a conventional taiko, which is about 500k score in total).
(2) the first few levels are designed for osu! standard, where a beginner map can only score no more than 100k, and a beginner may only get a few thousand points. But in o!m a beginner may score 500k in an easy, result in an immediately level up to lv10 or higher.
So I'm considering a new experience table for taiko and mania:
taiko experience table may be just like standard, but leveling exp may be far lower than that of osu!, making lv100 far easier( and more reasonable) to be acheived.
mania experience may be for each level a few millions, making the first few levels necessary; however at higher level experience needed may be gradually lower.
As in standard, a 30k pc player may be easy to get lv100. Why not making taiko players and o!m players the same? I suggest 10~15b total score for lv100 in o!m and 5~8b in taiko. And for lv101 and/or 102 and/or higher (Yeah on that event we see 109 lol), it should also be easier for taiko and o!m.
