3 Digit Taiko World Cup
  1. Registration Phase: December 5th - December 26th (0:00 UTC)
  2. Screening: December 26th - January 2nd
  3. Qualifiers: January 8th - January 10th
  4. Round of 32: January 15th - January 17th
  5. Round of 16: January 22nd - January 24th
  6. Quarterfinals: January 29th - January 31st
  7. Semifinals: February 5th - February 7th
  8. Finals: February 12th - February 14th
  9. Grand Finals: February 19th - February 21st

  1. During Qualifiers there will be multiple lobbies available at various hours.
  2. A private match will be created and teams will be invited into the lobby when it's their time. Make certain you're online at this time.
  3. There is no warmup.
  4. The mappool will be played twice in a row during the lobby. The best run will be taken into account for the ranking.
  5. If you show up late to a Qualifiers Lobby you may play the earlier maps with permission of the referee. Otherwise, your team will have to play the remaining maps on another lobby.
  6. Only two players from a team will be playing per map. There is no limitation on player swapping.
  7. Remember only the best 32/16 teams will go through the Qualifiers.
  8. If a team is seen playing more than twice the Qualifiers they will be immediately disqualified from the tournament. The best run will be calculated if playing each map twice.
  9. The match lobby will be created by the referee, and the team captains of both teams will be invited. The captain is then responsible for inviting the rest of their team. If the captain of a team is not online, the referee will invite any other player from that team, and that player will be responsible for inviting their team.
  10. Teams have a strict 10 minute grace period to have at least 2 players available to play the match. If 10 minutes pass and a team does not have enough players to play the match, the other team will receive a win by default
  11. At the start of the match, both captains roll. The roll winner picks first and bans second, and the roll loser bans first and picks second. What is more, rolls will occur after the warmups which order will be determined depending on each team side.
  12. Warmups will be allowed always as long as they do not last more than 3 minutes. All warmups must be sent to the streamer at least 1 hour before the match.
  13. Warmups are allowed to be skipped by each team if they want to.
  14. Players will have the lobby host so that they can pick the warmups they prefer to. After warmups end, host will be moved to the referee.
  15. It is allowed for players to not play with their full roster in warmups.
  16. Each team has to ban 1 map per match ( apart from the tiebreaker which cannot be banned ). From semifinals onwards there will be 2 bans per team. Each team will not be allowed to ban twice the same mod pool with the exception of nomods
  17. Teams have 2 minutes to ban a map; if they fail to ban in the allotted time, that ban is skipped.
  18. Teams have 2 minutes to select a map; if they fail to choose in the allotted time, the map choice will pass to the other team. This will have no effect on the order of picks afterwards.
  19. Teams may pick the same mod twice in a row.
  20. For free mod picks, at least 1 player from each team has to pick a mod, either Hidden or Hard Rock. Overmodding is allowed.
  21. The minimum combination of mods should always be followed.
  22. Mods allowed in FreeMods are: Hidden and Hard Rock.
  23. Players must select different mod combinations. Both players using only Hidden, only HardRock or Hidden+HardRock is disallowed.
  24. Players are allowed, but not required, to use mods on tiebreaker maps.
  25. When playing the tiebreaker, no one needs to have a mod activated and players can select same mod combinations.
  26. The team that sums up the bigger score among the 4 players ( two in each team ) when the map comes to an end will be the winner of the map.
  27. Once the map choice is locked in, players will have 90-seconds to ready up. The referee will start the match when all players are ready. If the 90-second timer ends, the referee will force an !mp start 10 command, and the match will start with whoever is in the lobby.
  28. In case of a disconnection, as long as it happens before the first minute into the map, the referee must abort. In case a disconnection occurs way after the first minute then the disconnected player will be summed up with the score he/she had until that point. In case of not being able to sum it up, with the score favouring the other team, that team will win the point.

The pool size will depend on the stage:
    Qualifiers: 2 NM/1 HD/1 HR/1 DT
    Round of 32, Round of 16 and Quarterfinals: 5 NM/2 HD/2 HR/2 DT/3 FM/1 TB
    Semifinals, Finals and Grand Finals: 6 NM/ 3 HD/3 HR/3 DT/3 FM/1 TB

    Teams
    1. Players sign up individually. When their registration is accepted, they will get a country role according to their flag.
    2. Countries will not be allowed to do B teams. In the case that there are not enough teams to do a group stage the qualifiers will determine your opponent in the bracket.
    3. If there are 5 players or less signed up for a country, those players will form the team.
    4. In the potential situation there are more than 10 sign-ups for a certain country, the players will decide among themselves who will play in the team. If they cannot decide then the top 5 players by ranking will be chosen to form the team accordingly.
    5. If having 6 players, then the players will have to choose the team by removing one of them and in the case they are unable to make a decision the top 5 players by ranking will be chosen to form the team.
    6. The players will decide on the captain of their team and if they cannot choose, then the highest ranked player will be chosen.
    7. The captain of each team is responsible of rescheduling matches and ensuring that his/her teammates are present for each match accordingly.
