I just discovered this neat little secret. In edit mode, place three regular hitcircles onto the grid. Highlight the second and third notes, hold alt, and proceed to click-and-drag the notes for a "suggested" placement.
What you're actually treated to is a splendiferous light show of spazmatic beat placement recommendations! What fun!
NOTE: I've noticed that this doesn't always work. With a song of BPM 220, at one-beat separation between notes 1 and 2, I got no results. But at 1.5-beat seperation, they freak out when I alt-snap them. Sometimes.
Damn it, I replicated it twice, but can't re-re-replicate it. It looks so cool, too ;___;
Does it work for anyone else D=?
Wait I just re-re-replicated it. This time the notes were automatically moving on their own, tracing toward my mouse until the duplicate 2 centered on my cursor. Neato.
