When I enter test in edit mode, I cannot click beats or the Continue, Retry and Menu buttons. When I enter the song catalogue, it is on all but none show. I cannot switch from All but it seems to recognise the songs are there as it plays them in the little corner thing when I start up.

Any chance of providing a screenshot of the song selection in the state you mention? Very hard to figure anything out from what you have said.
