I have been learning how to map for about a year now and I'm finally starting to get the hang of it I think. I'm confused as to how properly use distance snapping? Like I get that its supposed to put the notes equally distanced from each other and all but what about the multiplier? Im mostly confused on how to know which multiplier to use and if it even matters which one? Any help would be appreciated.
Juuuuuuuuul
The multiplier is related to the slider velocity,
a 1x multiplier mean you'll have to move your cursor between objects at the same speed as you move your cursor to follow the slider-ball.

For low diffs like Easy and Normal, try to keep it between 0.8x and 1.2x iirc. For Hard, you can just use that to keep the movement consistent for players and for the rest you can even ignore it and it will still be fine.
