I bought a tablet and it arrived 3 days ago, small scratches are visible at counterlight, to stop scratches i was told to use a sheet of paper in top of the tablet, which worked actually, but i just realized that the paper sharpened my pen nib after like 4 hours of gameplay, i have the Gaomon S620, and i want to know how scratched your tablets are and how they work to have a comparison, thank you.

You have to just embrace it. It doesn't affect anything other than being a little more slick
And if you never change your tablet area it will turn into a nice little shiny square. Unlike mine. I've changed the tablet area and position too many times.

I've been dragging on the same tablet for around 2 1/2 years (little more little less probably), and my tablet still works perfectly fine, the scratches are mostly cosmetic, and don't actually affect the tablet itself, but if you really don't want scratches your best option is buying a cover or hovering.

Mine isn't scratched up at all mostly because i've used a mousepad over my tablet for years, mousepad is really nice cause it has friction and my hand doesn't stick to tablet at all.

hi i drag on the same tablet since around when i started osu! (except for the first 3 months, scared of scratching tablet/using mouse)
i dont have any noticable scratches on my tablet, i had this same fear, but you cant do any dmg to your tablet if you drag lightly, its like... normal drawing on it, y'know. it should be able to handle it.

Buy a tablet cover, but choose wisely between gloss/matte coating, i use the tablet cover with a gloss surface and got used to it, but recently after the cover worn out i tried using matte coating, and its very uncomfortable for me because the friction and makes me harder to play jump maps.

I have exactly the same thing. Its the reason I got a cover because after a while the feeling of my pen over that area made me feel physically ill, like I was playing on sandpaper.
Yeah that's why I ordered a tablet cover. It's not here yet but it'll be a lot smoother once it arrives
