I have recently bought a Huion420, and I must say its very nice especially for the price. Just wondering what you guys find to be the best tablet for osu?

Check here I recommend XP Pen G640, Gaomon S620 & CTL/CTH 480 also usually people hate H420's pen because it has battery in the pen

Wacom CTH/CTL-480 if you manage to find one for a decent price, else Wacom CTL-472. Both of them have no hardware smoothing, are good quality and doesn't need batteries

I like the XP-pen G430S. It's just the right size for osu. It's insanely thin, the pen is light and battery free, and it has minimal smoothing and input lag compared to every other non Wacom tablet. And it's only $30 on Amazon.
The only negative I can think of is the surface gets shiny where your pen touches it pretty fast.

Also the Huion H420 is pretty much the worst tablet you can use for osu.

I just got the Gaomon s620, and after only using it for 2 days I am getting very familiar with it and it feels great to use. For only $35 USD I's totally recommend this tablet. I'm a hover player, but I did test some drawing and the surface also feels pretty good :3

Wacom is generally the safest and expensive choice, it’s Japanese and the leading brand in this pen tablet industry. To some extent it’s expensive, but ctl-4xx series shouldn’t be too scary in that sense. For osu alone, you don’t need anything more advanced than that.

Other brands like Gaomon or Huion are Chinese followers, and I heard that they could do quite well for osu too. I never used one so I don’t quite know, but still they have a good user base now.

If you would ask for the very best, it’s probably still wacom ctl-480 historically or 472 at the moment.

Edit: Now here’s something a bit irrelevant, but my own tablet is a ptk651. The tablet is gigantic, I have to say. Not practical at all. I’m thinking about giving it to artist friends when I get the chance.

H420 pen is garbage, can't grip it however you want, has a battery, can't move hand comfortably on tablet due to its small size. Never used anything else

If you want a cheap good tablet, I'll recommend VEIKK S640.

I only bought it like 30$.
Also, the tablet has cables so it doesn't need batteries and VEIKK's pen is thick.
If you don't like thick pen, I wouldn't recommend buying this tablet.

The best tablet you can possibly get is a Wacom CTH480 (I have one but I only use it for drawing).

A great beginner tablet would be an XP-Pen g430s or XP-Pen g460 (which is one that I'm currently using).

Another great option is the Gaomon S620.

I bought my CTH-480 for $50 and I find it's the best tablet I've used, although nominations were slim.

I started out using a Veikk S640 which is a great tablet, it has a smooth working area so you can drag comfortably if you're a dragger, and it's about $20 so it's fairly inexpensive.
The only problem with the S640 is I find it has minor hardware smoothing, even with Hawku drivers.

I use an XP Pen G640, but with a PA2 stylus because it's significantly more comfortable to hold. I can play for hours and still have a comfortable grip.

The dimensions are almost exact to the famous Wacom CTH480 that pros would use, and it's significantly more affordable than one of those at just $50 (~$100 less, and it's sleeker!). I've used both.

It also has a very nice pressure sensitivity if you want to use it to draw.

The only issue with the G640 is they made a new revision that has worse smoothing and polling rate than the original version. And there's no real way to tell the difference when you buy one.

Even by looks alone, it's not as sleek as the original. I have no idea what they were thinking. Don't get me wrong, though. The first version is still really good.

Great choice but I personally recommend the XPPen Star G430S. It has a larger active area and higher levels of pressure sensitivity. Plus, I think it also has a faster report rate which really helps when you're in-game. Both are great but I think the G430S is a neat upgrade!
