Why do so many people play 4k and 7k, but barely anyone plays 5k or 6k?

4k was already popular from stepmania, and 7k from o2jam and BMS
5k guitar/clone hero is technically 5k, and it's quite popular
6k was also somewhat played in stepmania but not as popular as 4k, i think its the 3rd most common key mode in mania
8k people got BMS or IIDX for that
9k same as 8k, there's PMS and Pop'n for it
10k I think theres some people who play it here, but mania doesnt support anything above 9k too well, so those who are interested just go to a better game for it

6K is also widely known in DJMAX iirc.
