someone explain

I understand supporter, just wanna understand more about what the hearts on the tag do/mean, as well as the tag in general.
I think you understand what I'm tryna get at, right?

Each user with starts with one heart, for each year you have had bought (or gifted) supporter you get an additional one, up to three.

That tag gets removed when your supporter expires.

Each heart means how long you've been supporting/gifting supporter.

1 heart = You're currently a supporter (either bought for yourself, or being gifted by others).
2 hearts = You're currently a supporter, and you've bought for yourself and GIVING OS TO OTHERS >= 2yrs worth of OS.
3 hearts = You're currently a supporter, and you've bought and GIVING OS TO OTHERS >= 5yrs worth of OS.

You don't have to be a supporter for more than 5 years to get 3 hearts, you can get it immediately after purchasing more than 5 years.

And it seems to count the time worth by the money you spent divide 48 (4$/month), instead of time. Because, if I consider 1 year = 26$ (already got discounted), my spending on this game divide 26 is already more than 5, and I haven't been a supporter for 2yrs yet, timewise, but I only have 2 hearts atm.
