Today while mapping with 1/16, a line of red font on Caps Lock popped out and scared the crap out of me. The line said that Peppy didn't implement it, and he didn't want any one to use it.

Peppy might be right, the beat divisor will be too small and too many to control. However, the function of getting perfect algorithms, BPMs, and offsets heavily depend on the beat divisor. Without a beat divisor of 1/16 or 1/12, the ability would be heavily impaired and many mapper will have immense problems getting the algorithm.(1/16 is the smallest I want to get, 1/32 would be pure chaos). Therefore, this question is asking you if we should keep it or not.

1/12 snap divisor shouldn't be necessary but being able to specify arbitrary time signatures would be nice a la 12/8 etc

Rofl, I had no idea that message was even there before I read this! :D
1/12 may have some obscure use when combining 1/4 and 1/3. 1/16 is completely useless as far as I can tell.
I wouldn't miss either of them.

awp: We represent 12/8 timing using a 4/4 metronome and 1/3 snap. 12/8 and 6/8 are a kind of "musical hack" called compound time which works around how nasty it is to write complex triple patterns using triplet notation. In practice, it's the same as 1/3 snap.

PROTIP*†: Just multiply your BPM by 16 and map everything to 1/1. That way you don't have to deal with colored lines everywhere and your sliders are 16 times as fun!

tbh, i'd like to give support to keep them, and ask MAT/BAT to decide whether the using of 1/12 or 1/16 in a certain map is fine or not.

more choices is better than no choice, despite most of the cases are not suitable :>

Yeah, 1/12 was wanted for a long time due for 1/3+1/4 maps. 1/16 is just begging to be abused, though :p
