I use VLC for videos (mostly anime). I don't even bother with music (though I have Winamp) because downloading each MP3 is just a waste of time.
I use both VLC and the default windows media player, depending on what computer I'm on.
Video & Music = VLC

Changed from VLC to MPC with the KPC on madVR
I've tried a few, Like winamp, Itunes, VLC. But i always end up back at windows Mediaplayer
