Welcome to STK8!
General Information
- This is a 2v2 osu!std tournament.
- The minimum number of players per team is 2, with a maximum of 3.
- Each match will be Team Vs and use ScoreV2.
- The rank range for the tournament is 80-150k (You will only be accepted if you are within the rank range at the time of registration AND at the end of registrations).
- Ranks will be locked once registration ends, meaning you can farm or decay out of the 80k-150k rank range after registration ends with no consequence.
- This tournament will contain a Group Stage, which will then go into a RO32, 24 or 16 Double Elimination Bracket. (Bracket Reset is applied at Grand Finals)
- The Group Stage will be played in a round-robin format.
- Players who do anything that is bannable on twitch will be automatically removed from the tournament.
- Freemod Rules: 1 person must go HD or EZ. 1 person must go HR or HDHR.
- There is a 1.75x multiplier for EZ.
- The tiebreaker map will be freemod. However, it is not required for anyone to pick a mod.
- Match is made approximately 10 minutes before the match is scheduled to start.
- Team mentioned first in the title of the match MUST BE in slots 1-2, with the team colour of red. Team mentioned second in the title of the match MUST BE in slots 3-4, with the team colour of blue.
- If there are less than 2 players from either team WITHIN THE LOBBY, there is a 10 minute grace period provided to allow them to join. The people with the most players within the lobby will win by default, if there are less than 2 players in any one team inside.
- Each team is allowed to choose up to 1 warmup map. This map does not exceed 5 minutes long, and is a map not in the mappool. The warmup map will be played with the freemod mod on.
- Each team will !roll for the banning and picking phase. The winner of the roll will get to choose between picking/banning, FIRST OR SECOND. The loser of the roll will get to choose between the unchosen options.
- IF THIS IS A DOUBLE ELIMINATION GROUP STAGE MATCH, then the rules will be explained when that is the case.
- Each team can ban 1 map per match, without any restriction (except the tiebreaker map) up to (but not includiung) RO16. Afterwards, each team can ban 2 maps per match.
- Each team will be allowed 1 minutes to ban their map. They are NOT allowed to ban from the same mod (NM is the exception).
- Picks will happen in alternating order after the previous map is finished. Each team will be allowed 2 minutes to pick their map. If a map is not picked, the pick will go to the other team.
- A map will be aborted if a player disconnects (or is visibly having issues) within the first 30 seconds of the map. If not, the map will continue. If there is a disconnect and the map is not aborted, the score for that player will be counted as 0 UNLESS a score is provided.
- An abort is allowed once per team, per match.
- Each map will be played with no fail.
- In the event of a tie, the map will be nullified and with the opponent team picking a different map. The picking team (who picked the map that got nullified) are not allowed to choose the same map for one round.
- The Tiebreaker map will be played if both teams are one point away from winning the match.

- QF/SF - BO11 - 2 bans
- Finals/GF - BO13 - 2 bans
All Team Players, Vice-Captains and Free Players MUST join the discord server as a team player after the form is filled in. Other players may join if they wish. Consistent activity must be shown throughout the past 3 months to be accepted into the tournament.
Any account that has been unrestricted within the past 90 days, alongside anyone else deemed suspicious, may be removed from the tournament by an admin or the host.
Players who are ineligible from playing in this tournament:

- Top 6 teams in STK7
- Top 3 teams in STK6
- Winner of any tournament within the STK series
- Player with an osu!standard, tournament related badge
