This is specific to taiko as this is the only game mode I only play left in osu. Which is why I posted here.

Now I begin to learn muzukishii since 3 days ago. I produce fairly ok plays offline & online as a start and FCs weren't a concern for me at all. Despite what my profile shows, the fun I have for taiko comes together with the FC as I always play for the great music and gameplay.

Whenever I play a map of this diff, my whole arm start shaking be it from the starting of a song all the to the end of it. Even when the songs ends, it stay for a while too during song select.

I google and found mostly its due to fatique normally but for me, this happen even on the first map I start playing on, and I am always well rested almost everytime.

I wonder if anyone have this problem playing specifically to taiko and if there's a way to overcome this.
Its depletes my enjoyment out of this game because its the only active game I play in my free time.

Majority of my misses and 100s were now due to me freezing (on the correct key everytime) or not pressing down the keys completely for it to register due to this uncontrollable constant shaking that I have with Muzukishii difficulty.

Happens to me sometimes. The way I get over it is shaking my arms really hard, or swinging them in a chopping motion, not enough to injure myself. Try to just the slightest bit make your wrist and fingers sturdy, enough to relax, but also enough so that your wrist and fingers don't give too much. People say relax, but sometimes I miss because I relax my fingers too much and don't press the keys all the way down. It was also due to me having a stiff keyboard.

I also got in the habit of pressing keys in this rhythmic jumping kind of motion. I lift my hand up just a little bit after I press a key so when I come down I have more force and I'm not just using my fingers to play. An example of it is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m2KY8Agytvg
You can see how cleanly he hits the patterns with a relaxed, but sturdy wrist and fingers, and when he uses his whole hands instead of his fingers he has this rhythmic feel to it.

Also if you get one of those days where you feel like nothing is going for you, take a short break. and if you get those days where you feel godlike take advantage of that and burn that feeling into you for the muscle memory

To ease your mind, try playing patterns using only one of your hands and shadow play with the other. Like only your dominant hand hits notes, while your other hand hits blank keys. You will see how easy patterns actually are, they are not as fast as you think sometimes, and you get scared and lock up not knowing this.

Thank you so much!

I'll take your advice in mind.

I now watch the video and realise what you mean.

Yup, I took a break for these few days since I couldn't do anything about it till I find a way to solve this shaking problem.

As for the last paragraph, understood. I was thinking that partially my freezing is due to this lock and fear since Muzukishii seems to be a steep learning curve compared to the transition from Kantan to Futsuu. Though I play almost full alternating, I do realise I have a slight dominant towards one of them.

Thank you again!
