Inconsistency in uninherited (red) timing sections in [inaba's Taiko Oni]
Timing:
I'm not sure about the part at 01:49:192 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) but I think current is incorrect since the stream is not arranged with equal interval:
So you need further timing for this.

00:18:468 (1) - the spinner should start at 00:18:621 according to the vocal
00:49:776 - add a note here? I can hear drum.
00:51:238 - the empty here is not a good idea since the section start at 00:50:776 (1) is a stronger section than previous one, so the empty is weird(for me). I would like to fill up this position with a note.
01:16:007 (4,5,6,7) - a little boring pattern..I'm expecting some thing different, like:
01:45:853 (4) - make a symmetry from 01:46:468 (5)? Now 01:46:468 (5) seems like an alone and random curved slider.
01:49:192 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - increase the volume of the stream a little? During test play I feel that the stream have few sense of beat and plays weird.

  2. Disable Letter boxing during break, it crops your image in an awkward way.
  3. Make it tick rate 2 across all difficulties.
  4. It makes more sense to end you final Kiai time as 03:47:852 - I guess.
  5. qoot8123's Taiko Muzukashii difficulty could map the piano sounds in the beginning of the song to match the rest of the map set, but doesn't matter XD

Requested mod as given in my modding queue.

[General]
Offset was incorrect, you had it too early (for this mp3) so I would recommend changing it to:



This includes all of the necessary metronome changes (after the final one there's not a single need for anything else as it's all on the same time) and of course this might change completely if I can find a HQ version of the song to encode for you which I'll come back at a later time if I do.

Note: All of these mods are after the offset correction has been implemented.

[Easy]

Would advise against having the slider velocity changes in The Easy completely as sure they're just small changes but for beginner players it can get to be confusing at times.

Some of the beat snaps are really weird for beginners to play as well, try to at least have it so they're in 1/1 distance from each other instead of being 3/2.
I'll point out a few of the changes you should do so just go through the rest of the difficulty and apply the same sort of treatment.
  1. 00:03:399 - Remove this as made up beats are always a personal irk. Try to make it coherent to the rhythm.
  2. 00:08:314 - Same as above.
    Honestly though I would really like for this intro to match up to what you have later on from 00:11:399 (1) - onwards as it follows the lyrics/music nicely and still is an easy rhythm.
  3. 00:11:399 (1) - This I would recommend having the slider arc into the next one on a natural flow. Sort of like this:
  4. 00:12:322 (2) - Didn't really care much for this being a random angled slider, change it back to just being a nice curvy slider to match the rest of the section.
  5. 00:16:322 (1) - Really weird looking slider which doesn't exactly match how the vocal feels, why not just use a more circle shaped slider?
  6. 00:17:861 (2) - If you apply something like above this will need moving.

Would advise against having the slider velocity changes in The Easy completely as sure they're just small changes but for beginner players it can get to be confusing at times.

Some of the beat snaps are really weird for beginners to play as well, try to at least have it so they're in 1/1 distance from each other instead of being 3/2.
I'll point out a few of the changes you should do so just go through the rest of the difficulty and apply the same sort of treatment.

  • 00:03:399 - Remove this as made up beats are always a personal irk. Try to make it coherent to the rhythm. I keep it like it is for now.
    00:08:314 - Same as above. ^
    Honestly though I would really like for this intro to match up to what you have later on from 00:11:399 (1) - onwards as it follows the lyrics/music nicely and still is an easy rhythm.
    00:11:399 (1) - This I would recommend having the slider arc into the next one on a natural flow. Sort of like this Done
    00:12:322 (2) - Didn't really care much for this being a random angled slider, change it back to just being a nice curvy slider to match the rest of the section. Done
    00:16:322 (1) - Really weird looking slider which doesn't exactly match how the vocal feels, why not just use a more circle shaped slider? Done

  3. 00:31:399 (2,4) - Overlaps like this are hard to read and can confuse players. I suggest unstacking these notes by adjusting (2)'s position to be on the top part of the slider. 00:31:399 (2) disappears fast enough to notice that there is a nother slider following up.
  4. 00:45:323 (5) - I suggest deleting this note since it's the only triple in the whole map like this and the music isn't even any different than the other parts where you don't use it. Done...
  5. 00:50:169 (5) - Like I mentioned earlier, this can confuse players. I suggest the same thing here (one repeat with circle after) Plays a bit weird here.
  6. 01:00:476 - Please delete this timing point, since the spinner needs to be auditable here orz I increased to volume to 60% instead.
  7. 01:19:705 (6) - Same as before Done
  8. 01:42:782 (8) - New Combo here for consistency and to help with HP drain on this low density part Done
  9. 01:47:090 (7,1) - Swap new combo's here for consistency (plus it fits the music) Done
  10. 01:59:628 - Move this spinner to 01:59:705 for playability purposes (remember to adjust length) and delete the timing point so once again, the spinner is auditable Done
  11. 02:07:013 - Do the same thing here as above, but make the timing point about 40% volume so it fits the quiet section here. Done

  13. 03:38:706 (2) - Delete this note since it will be unexpected considering the difficulty of this map.

  7. 01:12:321 (8) - Like I mentioned before, stacks like this completely break the flow of the map orz. Fixed

  9. 02:02:782 (4,5,6) - Change to a slider-circle to be consistent with 02:04:013 (9,10) and again, to make it more interesting instead of boring stacks :c Done

  11. 03:18:090 (2) - Start this on 03:18:167 and extend (1) to end just before it. Nobody will expect a change on the blue tick like this, since patterns like this usually have changes on the downbeats. Done
