it was a video called the history of sunix and somewhere at the end he said that sunix wants to stop playing geometry dash
so that he can play osu and pubg
and this is my first time hearing the word osu!
but i started playing osu 2 years after that event beacuse i thouth osu is a game that you need to pay for

found osu from tokaku i have never played gd
During my days of playing GD (Geometry Dash), I've heard of osu! but haven't gotten the opportunity to play it. A few years later quite recently, a friend got me into osu! after streaming it on a Discord VC.
I found osu from wubwoofwolf ronald mcdonald un owen was her video, but only decided to play it 5 years later after i got into rhythm games
i got into this game because the guy who made geometry dash forgot to update the game
I actually discovered osu! before GD, but since some of my friends started suggesting GD first, I tried it. GD lacked in updates and promised features, and soon after osu! videos started showing up on my YouTube page. That's when I got into osu!

GD was created with the rhythm concept in mind, as seen in early levels, but the meta has shifted into making challenging levels and thus the rhythm aspect was slowly ditched away, making the game 2d scrolling platform instead.
