GAH. THIS is why I need to save incrementally. I lost a good 20 minutes of work.

I was just working on a beatmap, editing a song while it was playing, when all of a sudden the window disappeared and gave me the same dialog that it does when it prompts you to exit Edit Mode (Save? Yes/No/Cancel.) Now, I SHOULD have hit Yes but instead, thinking it would just shoot me back to the edit screen, I hit Cancel. Then I got this:

EDIT: I just got another one too! I got this error and the previous one as well right after adding a slider that doesn't actually have any movement (i.e, a slider that you just click on and click again to finish before you drag it.) After I do that and either try to delete it, try to restart the song or try to, well, click anything, there's a small chance that it crashes.

...and then that was that. x 15000.

I'll try to reduplicate but I did the exact same thing I mentioned above with no luck... I'll keep trying stuff.

Sorry about the crash. Unfortunately these things happen and I can't do much to stop this (except hire paid testers. haha)

Do you know exactly what you did when the error occurred? Or nothing in particular?

I'll look into this - should be pretty easy to find the cause.

Bump for new error and possible duplication.

And no worries, it was my fault I didn't save.

Ah yes, placing a slider like that would result in bad things happening. Try and avoid this for the time being!

Edit: split rest of topic into beatmap help - lets discuss slider placement there.
