As someone who's attempted taiko, I'm wondering if making the switch to alternating is worth it. I don't plan on actively playing taiko as I do standard so I've been going with whatever way was most comfortable to play with. (Keys dfjk, using mostly my right hand) What should I start with/do in this situation?

Thanks ^^

Alternating is impossible to play without, there will be a point when the speed exceeds single tapping. The question is when to single tap, vs alternate. You will find eventually that when your single tap speed is super fast, you wont need to alternate some patterns. However I think that if you can alternate everything perfectly there's nothing you wont be able to play.

Alright! Thanks. That's more or less what I was thinking about I just needed a bit of confirmation.
