How to edit the length of the song in the editor?

I accidentally left an unwanted bit of audio at the end of a song I'm mapping and I wanted to get rid of it without resetting the progress I had already made with the mapping process. Are there at least any methods for copying over my work to another song file?

You can just cut that unwanted part of the .mp3 in audio editor like Audacity and replace it. Remember to check offset and resnap objects if needed.

I'm not exactly sure how you would do that though. I'm almost already done with the map, so how would I edit the mp3 of the map?

File --> Open Song Folder

You can see the audio.mp3 there. Edit that file (Remember to know where your map ends to avoid object being deleted due to be located after the outro) and then replace the old audio.mp3 with your edited one.
