oh god fanfics
You have no idea how many fanfics my mind makes.
Too bad im too lazy to make them.

I can't write fanfics because I can't think of a series that I both hate and know well.
The insurmountable mass of bad fan-fiction has made my even considering writing one an insult to both me and the subject matter. Keep me away from that shit, I'll stick to squirrelking

To be honest, I'm like George Lucas. I have this fictional world planned out (in this case, a unifying multiverse for Sonic, Kirby, Pokémon, and Zelda series), but I can't write dialog or emotional narration worth crap.
I tried to make a series of short stories in the Sonic part of this multiverse, but they all sounded so forced that I'm not going to try to detail them here. I don't really consider them true fanfiction, though, since they didn't involve any canon characters directly, instead involving the other "bystanders" in Sonic's world. Suffice to say, it's a lot harder to create your own characters and not make them contrived if they're not an exaggerated reflection of yourself.
In any event, someday, I might make another attempt, but it's very, very doubtful.
