Something wrong with my sliders

Hi. Okay here's my problem. Whenever I'm mapping a song and there is a certain part where I want to use a different Slider Velocity I just switch the velocity, make the sliders and then switch it back. But Somehow after I save the map or test it the other sliders get affected. I check before I test that each slider is at their correct length but when I test it everything goes out of whack! Whenever I go back to my map I have to click on each slider in the timing bar above and drag it a small bit for it to somehow move back to it's original velocity. So I need to ask, how do I fix this problem? Am I doing something wrong? I think other people do something to prevent that from happening. Pls help!!!

Sadly, changing slider velocity is not super intuitive. The slider velocity on the timing setup panel is meant for the whole song and not for a slider in particular. To change the slider velocity for a section you need to create an inherited timing section, and change the slider velocity multiplier.
To do that:
1. Go to the exact time that you want to speed up sliders
2. Go to the timing tab, and click Timing Setup Panel. This should bring up a window called Timing and Control Points.
3. Press the green plus sign on the bottom right of the window
4. On the left side of the window, there should be a box for slider velocity multiplier, select the multiplier you want (custom can go from 0.5x to 2.0x)
5. Hit Okay
6. Find the exact time you want to end these sped up sliders and repeat steps 2-5 again to create an inherited timing section with a slider velocity multiplier of 1.0x

Sorry to pull this back up, but I have an entire section of sliders I want to be slower, starting from the very first beat. Is is OK to have two timing points in the same spot?

That should be fine, but remember, you can also just do the opposite and the beginning be the normal sv and have the ending have a sped up sv.
