Is this rankable

So I have a map Im working on (beatmapsets/1225413#osu/2548527)

and so far I have 2 diff's

Another (5.27*)

Hyper (3.99*)

Im making a standard diff before pushing for rank (2-2.9*)

Do I have to have a diff in between the hyper and standard diff in order to be ranked??????

Nope. Those two diffs can be counted as Hard and Insane respectively, still rankable.

On a side note: While osu guidelines state that difficulties should not be more than 1 star apart, this often can be ignored because star ratings generally don't depict the difficulties at a very accurate scale. As long as your two difficulties are a reasonable, well difficulty apart then you should be fine.

Which is exactly why it's badly worded. However it's still commonly mis-conceptualized as the guidelines say that you cannot "skip any difficulty levels". Which is misunderstood sometimes to be a 1 star gap. My wording in the previous post was pretty bad though. It does not state anything about star gaps.
