Where do you get Vocaloid PVs?

I hope this doesn't sound like a dumb question, but I'm new to beatmap making and I don't know how something works..

How do you get Vocaloid PVs? Do you download them as .avi files from a site? Do you record them? Someone please help me.

Most people usually get pvs by ripping them from a video sharing site like youtube or niconicodouga. Some PVs have higher quality versions in DVDs though, so if you can get your hands on those higher quality pieces, they are preferred.

Also, you will have to convert them yourself, so please use guides like this to teach you how to reencode your video to .avi t/96003
