Hi Abe! I mean what you're mentioning isn't necessarily a bad idea, and people do it somewhat frequently. It's what's called being an 'offline player', where you spend almost all of your time playing unranked maps or not logged in, and only log into your account and play ranked maps when you want to submit a score. There's not really a huge advantage to it other than your profile might confuse people, which could be useful if you plan on playing tournaments in the future, since it could trick your opponent into thinking you're worse than you are due to lower playcount. Either way it's up to you, there's not a real objective reason to do it tbh, but if you wanna turn some heads by being a player with like 2 days playtime and 200pp plays go for it (thought keep in mind you might face hackusations or be accused of multiaccounting, but if you have records of offline play like replays and such you'll be fine.)
