Surprised that this hasn't been created. Everyone's talking about it, at least down here.

Planetside 2 is a free-to-play MMOFPS by Sony. Released 20th November, 2012.

So yeah this game is impossible for the colorblind. I can't read the map; blue and purple look almost exactly the same. Maybe I should play TR then.

Isn't cool enough to have a signature.

I use Internet Explorer 9, voluntarily, after trying the most recent versions of all major competing browsers.

I play NC on US|Helios. Yeah, we basically have to fight off TR and VS at the same time. Feels like they ally against us even though we have no territory.

I've only been playing a week or two but I still can't get the hang of flying. It's amazing how some of these guys fly, particularly in the scythes.

Show me a perfect community and I'll show you a pig that can fly.

I play as Athanei on Briggs (AU) on the TR side, currently BR29 specialising in infantry support and air superiority

TR is best side anyway, NC weapons are terrible past CQC and Vanu weapons are easymode good everywhere, TR has a nice balance of CQC and mid range prowess that the other two lack

LaVolpe: turn mouse sensitivity up as high as your mouse will go, press H to open up large minimap (lets you see scouted aircraft approaching you, very handy) and make ample use of space bar and ctrl (ascend and descend appropriately). A2A is the hardest thing in the game to do unless you're fighting someone who flies in straight lines. Aside from this, you've pretty much just gotta launch yourself into a fighter whenever you are able to. It's more experience than anything else.

I'm learning, only thing I need is the missiles and they cost a shitload of certs. Why is everything so expensive
