How to copy one difficulty of a map to your own beatmap (fixed instructions inside)

May have made a whole map on one that isn't mine by accident. Is there any way to quickly copy the map onto a new one?
  1. Go to "File" for the desired map
  1. "Open osu in notepad"
  1. Ctrl + A then Ctrl + C to get the data
  1. Make a new, desired map with the audio and background of choice
  1. Find your Osu folder and goto "Songs"
  1. Find your beatmap
  1. Open the .osu in notepad and take note of the beatmap IDs
  1. ctrl + a ctrl + v
  1. edit the beatmap IDs to match the one of the new map
you're good just load it up
recommend only for situations like mine; unsure of Osu plagiarism rules

bruh just remap the whole thing exactly pixel by pixel its not that hard i do it all the time
