How do I change the miss sound?

I have changed and replaced the "combobreak" file with another but Osu! doesn't seem to register it and i cant hear any sound when I miss.

Make sure there's no typo in the file name and make sure the file type is either .wav or .mp3.

Additionally, try enabling Use skin's sound samples and Ignore all beatmap skins in the settings.
