Hm could it be possible that the effect volume only affect the sounds during play? Sometimes i just feel like playing with no hitsounds or a bit more silent sounds but i dont like that the effects in the menu get silent too :( well thats it

Hitsounds are a part of the game, and if you want to turn them off then use Fun Spoiler with a skin with silent hitsounds.
