When a note is placed on lets say more on the L Axis, the hitsound is played on your left earphone/speaker etc. Of course there should be an option to toggle it on/off. a friend recommends to do it by a simple image scan that changes the L/R audio output. Adding this can may give more "life" to the game

just to be clear. Osu DOES support stereo audio for hitsounds
