Hello! I hope this forum thread reaches an Osu Staff member, because I've been having a little bit of trouble enjoying the game for one particular reason. I would like this to stop as soon as possible. See, I've constantly been getting really small lag spikes throughout playing a beatmap.
I'm sure everybody has them every once and a while, and I respect it is probably just how it works. But, ever since today, after the update, I've been getting a maximum 2-second lag at least once on every beatmap I've played. It makes me lose points, knock off my rhythm, and overall makes me mad and I end up having to restart the level. Keep in mind, it probably is not because of too much graphics or movement, because I'm quite average in my skill. All the extra added effects have always been disabled, and my skin is very ordinary and I have been using it for quite a while now.
I have a hunch that the reason for these aggravating lag spikes is because of the small update and the last few previous updates. whatever the Staff is doing, I would like them to consider my problem, because unless I've done something wrong in the past week regarding settings (which as far as I can recall, I haven't touched for a while), I think the updates are the cause.
Please inform me if the issue is addressed. Otherwise, playing this game is going to quickly become very aggravating.
