Yes you can. Press the T keyboard on that "trace" you're talking about and change the offset and BPM if needed.

Also, there are programs that can auto-calculate BPMs.

I used to use this program:
https://www.abyssmedia.com/bpmcounter/

I currently use this program (no decimal values, so less recommended, but is more accurate in being correct)
https://www.abyssmedia.com/tunexplorer/

They're both free (the second one has a never-expiring free trial) and are easy to use.

not having decimal values is better though since the vast majority of modern songs are digitally mastered to an integer bpm

Does the program calculate a single BPM? Or does it calculate all the tracks?

I had a program that worked incorrectly, if the song had 2 BPM tracks, it took something in between...

._. huge bruh. try mapping yourself. i dare you to do that and see it for yourself.

I do use some website programs that can sometimes be accurate, but overall I think downloading things to find BPM just like Everydude said, would work better most likely.

Ikr it's painful.
I don't play an instrument either so that means I don't have as good of a "feel" either, so I usually just get my friends who do to help me out 😉
nyaarin
just use something like http://www.beatsperminuteonline.com/ to calculate the BPM yourself if you want.
The offset can be very hard to configure tho, agreed

it's fine if you don't have a "feel" for it, regardless of that you can get relatively good at it just by doing enough of it ("time more" heh), which is why I'd recommend people like you too to try do it themselves, since eventually you'll reap the rewards for the practice, and most modern songs (akin to what lewski was talking about) are fairly simple either way, which not only makes it easier even early on, but basically a breeze when you know what you're doing (basically way more efficient than consulting anyone else at that point anyways)

TheKingHenry's completely right. You should try it to do it yourself.
