Granola is a power management software. It's pretty neat, it works by using a technology called “dynamic voltage and frequency scaling” or DVFS that’s been built into *most computers for about five years. DVFS allows software to regulate the speed and power use of the CPU in real-time, without rebooting. It reduce CPU power consumption by 15-35%, thus less watt is given used. The impact on performance is negligible and you'll barely notice it running. Now you can save a little from that electric bills.

Comes in two flavors: Personal (Free) and Enterprise (Not Free). Supported OS is currently Linux and Windows.

*Some PC might not have DVFS (like one of mine, it's pretty old).
