Using other maps hitsounds?

Hello, i'm starting to map "Guilty all the same" by Linkin Park and was wondering if i could use the hitsounds from other people who have mapped this. That way, i won't have to search for appropriate ones myself.
Can anyone tell me if this is allowed? thank you!

as a good citizen, you should always ask the original submitter for permission. while many mappers just copy the files right away, these could have been produced on a very specific basis, and the author wouldn't want them to be used unauthorizedly. example: beatmapsets/294935#osu/662928 (drum hits were recorded by the mapper themselves)
