question about difficulty spread

should I be worried about my hard diff being 3* and my insane potentially reach 4.5* in terms of ranking spread requirements?

actually, to be general for potential mapping ideas: what's the acceptable range of the difficulty slope for ranking requirements? (for instance my hard and insane are at about 1.5 slope.. which is why I'm worried)

star rating doesnt matter at all
no, not even a bit, there's no middle ground here, it's irrelevant

what matters is how the diffs are mapped. ideally, you want to introduce certain elements of the insane in the hard in order to make a coherent spread. the most common example is 1/4 usage: if there's a lot of 1/4 in the insane, you need to have some in the hard as well. make sure to check out the difficulty specific guidelines in the ranking criteria
