Shortest length that can be uploaded?

What is the possibly shortest length of a beatmap that can be uploaded?
Is there a limit of duration on uploading a beatmap? If so, what is the longest and the shortest length?

I don't think there is a lower limit on length when uploading because you can literally upload an empty map. The maximum isn't defined anywhere either as far as I'm concerned, but there are some maps that are several hours long so there is nothing to worry about.
