b-back to the topic on hand...
For multi-gamemode players like myself, you have to look at the perspective. For example, my osu!standard skill rate is very low compared to anything else, when I'm not using RX, as I'm still only level 63, even after 3 years. But, with it, I usually pass ~6.5* maps relatively easily, despite using a trackpad.
Likewise for osu!catch. I enjoy playing hyperwalk and wiggle maps, for fun. I'm level 98, where my peak rank was 4.9k; eligible to play in o!catch Worlds, albeit my participation would most likely not be very fortunate for others who are more skilled than me.
The same goes for osu!mania. I'm currently level 82, at 17k world. I frequently play practice maps, such as marathons, jacks, anything endurance to train my arms for literally whatever gets thrown at me. Even bowling balls, somehow. Though this is typically difficult, as I have trouble comprehending that my physical capabilities are improving, and pause during a very intense stream section.
However, osu!taiko is the exception. I am level 37, at 18k world. I play any map, mostly because of the way taiko HP works. Though, the popular belief that "playing osu!mania will make you better at osu!taiko" does not apply to my case, as I play DDKK style on a keyboard. Albeit the similar keybinds, I cannot emphasize enough that I am not good at taiko by any means. Yes, it is a very interesting instrument, and the concept behind dons and kats are extremely mentally captivating. However, this instrumental knowledge is close to fodder when playing rhythm games. And so I must say that, officially...
i suck at everything lmao
