Local ranking among friends

I came up with the idea that friend can see each others local rankings, so you have an Ranking among friends to see whos the best.

from what I read it is not, this is not show the friends on the rankings but more a have a separate ranking pool amoung friends. Different request if I am reading it right.

I personally would love to see the idea of a ranking pool, people (often friends) could enter and compete amoungst themselves separate from the global rankings just their own ranking pool. although it would need to be thought out in more detail.
