  1. This is a 4v4, ScoreV2, international osu! standard tournament.
  2. Team size is 6-8 players.
  3. The NoFail mod will be enabled on all maps besides those in the FreeMod pool.
  4. The 3 Divisions (rank ranges) are Division S rank 1-1.500, Division A rank 1.501-7.500, and Division B rank 7.501-20.000, with BWS applied and no rank buffer (more info below if you don't know what BWS is).
  5. For Division S, only the top 4 players must be within ranks 1-1.500. The rest of the players on the team must be between ranks 1-20.000.
  6. The 3 Divisions essentially operate as separate tournaments with the exact same rules.
  7. All players must stay within the rank range until the end of player registrations.
  8. The tournament will have a qualifiers stage first, then at most the top 16 teams in each division move on to a double elimination bracket stage.
  9. There will be a bracket reset in the Grand Finals if necessary.
  10. The bracket stage will follow traditional seeding as follows: #1 vs. #16, #2 vs. #15, etc.
  11. Match schedules and mappools will be released on the Sunday before those matches are played at 23:59 UTC.
  12. All times are in UTC. Find your own time zone here. Alternatively, the current time in UTC is displayed on the main spreadsheet.
  13. Team captains must join the discord server. Your team's registration will not be counted unless your captain is in the discord server.
  14. Mappool Selectors, Playtesters, and Admins are NOT allowed to play in the tournament. However, commentators and streamers ARE allowed to play. Referees may only play so long as they do not ref any matches in their own division.
  15. Reschedules must be made at least 24 hours before BOTH the scheduled match time and the new match time. Reschedules submitted less than 24 hours before BOTH the scheduled match time and the new match time are not guaranteed to be accepted except in extreme cases (e.g. medical issues, sudden emergencies, etc.).
  16. Team names can be a MAXIMUM of 19 characters. This is so neither team name gets cut off on the stream client.
  17. Team names must not contain any slurs or otherwise intend to be bigoted, and they must not be disrespectful toward tournament staff. Any such names will be rejected and asked to be revised. If after one revision, the team is still submitting inappropriate team names, they will not be allowed to participate and will be blacklisted from future tournaments I host in this server.

  • BWS, or Badge Weighting Seeding, is a method that seeds players more accurately based on the number of badges they have, and enforces rank restrictions based on the player's number of badges.
  1. In other words, BWS "ranks up" players based on the number of badges they have.
  2. In terms of how much a player ranks up per badge, each badge is worth more than the one before it.
  3. The formula is as follows:
  4. This is not a measure of skill. Read the first bullet point again.
  5. Sample values of the BWS formula can be found here.
  6. Players may appeal badges from tournaments with rank ranges not overlapping with the rank range for the division they are entering. This would remove the badge from BWS calculations for that player.
  7. However, if removing said appealed badge puts that player into a division with a rank range that overlaps with the rank range of the tournament from that appealed badge, the badge CANNOT be appealed (overlaps of literally 1 rank are allowed).
  8. Additionally (and OBVIOUSLY), badges from tournaments with a higher rank range than the division that player is entering cannot be appealed.

  1. A referee will make the lobby at least 5 minutes before the match. Team Captains or another designated member of the team must be online to receive their invites.
  2. Team captains will !roll to determine pick and ban order. The winner of the roll chooses pick order, and the loser chooses ban order.
  3. If a team does not have four players in the lobby by 10 minutes after the scheduled match start time, they lose all their bans.
  4. If a team does not have four players in the lobby by 15 minutes after the scheduled match start time, they forfeit the match.
  5. Each team gets 1 ban in RO16 and 2 bans from QF to GF. Banned maps are effectively removed from the mappool for that match.
  6. Both teams can ban 2 maps of the same mod pool. However, from QF to GF, a team may not use both their bans on the same mod pool, unless they double-ban nomod.
  7. Teams may not pick consecutive maps from the same mod category, unless they double-pick nomod.
  8. Each team has 120 seconds to pick/ban a map. After a team picks a map, teams have 120 seconds to ready up for the map.
  9. NoFail will be forced on every map (except maps in the FreeMod pool) to avoid the possibility of team fails.
  10. NoFail is allowed on FreeMod maps.
  11. In the case of a genuine disconnection in the first 30 seconds of the map, the map may be replayed. This can only be used once in a match per team. If a team disconnects on the same map twice in a row or on two different maps, they must deal with the consequences of their disconnect. This rule is to prevent abuse through manually leaving the game after missing on a map.
  12. On FreeMod, the allowed mods are Hidden, Hard Rock, Easy, and Flashlight.
  13. On FreeMod, teams must use at least 2 of the above mods. Additionally, at least 2 players on each team must take a mod. For example:
  14. HDHR & HDHR good
  15. HDHR & HD or HR good
  16. HD & HD bad
  17. HD & HR good
  18. Scores with the Easy modification will be multiplied by 1.5.
  19. You are allowed, but not required, to use any of the above mods on the tiebreaker.

  1. There will be qualifier lobbies open throughout the qualification weekend for each division; teams can sign up for whichever lobby fits their schedule.
  2. Each lobby can hold up to 16 players = 4 teams.
  3. Each lobby will have 1 assigned referee.
  4. The lobby will play through the entire map pool once in order, and your team's total score after every map will be recorded.
  5. Qualifiers will be played on Head-to-Head.
  6. Failed scores will count.
  7. Teams are not directly competing with the other teams in their lobby.
  8. Teams will be given points based on their performance on each qualifier map with the following formula:
  9. Teams' points on each map are added up to produce a total point score.
  10. The teams with the 16 highest total point scores in each division will advance to that division's RO16.

  1. All teams in both winner's and loser's brackets will play on the same mappool each week.
  2. There will be separate map pools in each division for Qualifiers, RO16, QF, SF, Finals, and Grand Finals. Mappool format will be as follows:
  3. Qualifiers: 4 No Mod/2 Hidden/ 2 Hard Rock/2 Double Time
  4. RO16: 5 No Mod/2 Hidden/2 Hard Rock/3 Double Time/2 Free Mod and a tiebreaker.
  5. QF/SF: 5 No Mod/3 Hidden/3 Hard Rock/4 Double Time/3 Free Mod and a tiebreaker.
  6. F/GF: 7 No Mod/3 Hidden/3 Hard Rock/4 Double Time/3 Free Mod a tiebreaker.
  7. Finals and Grand Finals will NOT use the same pool.
  8. Qualifiers pools will be roughly between the QF and SF pools in difficulty.
  9. Expect the following star ratings for Grand Finals and Qualifiers pools in each Division:
  10. Division S: GF 7.6* NM1 Max, Qualifiers 6.9* NM1 Max
  11. Division A: GF 7.0* NM1 Max, Qualifiers 6.5* NM1 Max
  12. Division B: GF 6.4* NM1 Max, Qualifiers 5.9* NM1 Max
