We’re back with another tourney and this time, you better grab your best buddy because it’s a doubles tournament!! All matches other than the qualifying matches will be streamed live at twitch.tv/irollsleepy. Oh and there’s one more twist: Each team must register with their own mappool of 5 maps each. During the tourney, your mappool for each round will be made up of the maps that you and your opposing team have chosen. A tiebreaker has already been chosen for you.

Double Elimination Bracket, 8 teams of 2 (16 total players)
Best of 5 (Possibly best of 7 for finals)
Rank limitation: No more than ONE player on a team may be ranked <10,000 at time of registration.





Upon registration, each team must submit 5 unique maps: 1 nomod, 1 HR, 1 HD, 1 FM, and 1 DT. Each map must meet the following requirements to be eligible:

- Star range between 4* to 5.3* (after mods are applied)
- Must be ranked or loved map
- Minimum song duration of 1 min and 45 seconds up to maximum of 4 minutes

Please note that when a “Freemod” map is selected to play, “HD” and “HR” must be used exactly once in the team. (for example: two players pick one mod each or one player does HDHR). Also, freemod maps must fall within star range after HR is applied.

Each team’s mappool will be reviewed. We have the freedom of rejecting any map for any reason that suits us. Our goal is to approve every map but if it feels unfair or inappropriate for a streamed tournament setting, we may reject them. If a map is rejected for whatever reason, the team will be notified and be given the chance to submit an alternative map. In the event that two teams happen to choose the same map, the team that submits first will get priority. Once everyone’s maps are finalized, all of the mappools will be provided.

Registration close: February 13th, 2020 at 10:00PM PST (or February 14th, 2020 at 6:00AM UTC)
Qualification match and final deadline for alternate maps (if needed): February 16th, 2020 at 10:00AM PST (or 6:00PM UTC)

Because this tourney is entirely set on one day and all matches will be streamed, please expect the tourney to last around 5-6 hours from beginning to end.





Each team must present 200 cookies (stream currency) between the two players to be eligible to participate. That means if just one player has 200 cookies, that’s fine. If each player has 100 cookies each, that works too. If you have 0 cookies between the two of you and you still want to play, come hang out with us in stream some time~ *winkwink*

Each team must elect one player to be the team leader. This player is responsible for speaking for the team in map selections and bans during the tournament. Final decisions for the team will be made by the team leader. Again, no more than ONE player on a team may be ranked <10,000 at time of registration.

Referee invites the players in the lobby and you have to be there within 5 minutes of your scheduled time or the match will be lost by default. The mappool eligible for selection for each round will be the combined mappools of the two opposing teams.
-team leader rolls (A > B)
-B bans first, then A bans after (best of 5)
-A picks first, then B, then repeat
-if someone disconnects in a map and reconnects within 60s the map will be replayed. Otherwise, the player loses the map. If the player doesn’t reconnect within 5 minutes, they will lose the match.

Qualifiers (if they happen):
Referee(s) invites players into the lobby at 10:00AM PST (or 6:00PM UTC) on February 16th. You have to be there within 5 minutes or you will immediately be disqualified. 1 to 3 maps will be selected by the referee and the top 8 teams with the highest combined score will be qualified to compete.

How deaths/fails are handled:
As long as at least one player of the team is alive, the map will continue. If both players of the same team are dead at the same time, the point will go to the other team. At the end of the map, the total score of the alive member(s) of the team are added and compared to the total score of the other team.





Prizes for each player on the team:
1st Place: Osu! Supporter for 1 month & Sleepy’s Hall of Fame entry & 2500 cookies (stream currency) - Prize pool may increase in the event of donations during tournament time
2nd Place: 2000 cookies (stream currency)
3rd Place: 1500 cookies (stream currency)
