Yeah. The settings menu starts to get crowded. Why not separate them so that it wouldn't be so hard browsing through the list of key bindings?
Here's what I'm proposing:
1.) The Options Menu will be reordered.
- there will be buttons corresponding to certain submenus, instead of options.
- once I press a button from the six menus, these buttons will disappear, showing the options for the button I pressed.
- on the submenu, the tabs on the top should pop up (for ease of access), and disappear once I go back to the main options menu.
2.) The Input Submenu needs some improvement.
- general settings and mouse sensitivity remains on the same locations.
- there will be a button for key bindings.
- other spaces could be filled with other customizable input settings.
3.) The Key Bindings would have its own menu.
*(lol I hope there could be an alternative key binding for some keys xD)
- menus will show up on the sidebar for key bindings for different stuff.
- game mode specific settings would show up on top of the popup menu.
- clickable list of keys for configuring the key bindings.
So far, that's what I have in mind. Feel free to comment, suggest, and criticize. ^_^
Oh. I forgot one more thing. All of the elements that will be used here must be skinnable. :>
