[resolved] How do I delete a beatmap that is a WIP?‬ · forum‬

Problem details:
When I was doing a map I just uploaded it on a whim, I dislike it and would like to delete it; how would I do so? I've seen people say to let it go to the graveyard, but I do not know how to do that. Thanks in advance for any help!

If you posted it to the beatmap WIP forum it will remain there until graveyarded. When it's graveyarded, I believe it's there forever. You can delete the WIP Beatmap out of your OSU folder, but the WIP map would still remain on the forums regardless.

TL;DR: I don't think it's possible to delete a WIP or Graveyard map permanently.

It takes about a month of no updates to your map for it to be moved to the graveyard. Once there, the map can be deleted from its discussion page.

so if i delete the beatmap when it's in the graveyard section in my account page i can delete it in everyone who have downloaded my map and remove the beatmap in my WIP section in my account page?

Please make a new thread next time instead of bumping old resolved ones.

You cannot delete a map in WIP. Like said above you must wait a month without updating or posting in it so it goes to the Graveyard. Once it's there, you can delete it via the discussions page for your map.

Deleting the map will not cause the map to disappear from people's games. It will only disable downloading and searchability of that map. Whoever had it download will still have it.

Came here until a month and my beatmap HASN'T been graveyarded.
