Coming to destroy your puu.sh

Just because it's slow and I can.


Notable features that puush doesn't have:
- Distributed hosting, it's like a cloud. Almost. Well, at least it's not hosted on Windows (like puush) and offloads traffic over numerous servers.
- P2P file transfers and sharing. This is most usable at offices, I know because we're using it like freaks here.
- Built-in in-app file management, not a damned web interface. Who the hell wants to go all the way to the website and login with some forgotten credentials to delete a file... Or make it private?
- Captures windows on OS X, and no - it's not using /usr/sbin/screencapture like puush.
- Has "pastebin" functionality. So you can paste your code and... stuff without having to open up a damn browser.
- Upload compression! Every single upload you make is compressed with GZip during the upload, if you don't like it you can always disable it.
- Works on Mac OS X, Windows, FreeBSD and Linux.
- Has an open API.

Public version under a different name coming soon.

if it works like puush and supports Android I'll check it out

though I'd rather have puush support for Android

EDIT: Yes it has an API so iOS/Android versions will come as well.

Tell you what, this app sucks. (Figures, seems like someone didn't even have $25 to put it on Google Play)


There's lots of things that made me (well, US) come up with this.
Trust me, I've recommended puush to people back in time - now they keep nagging like shit that puush sucks.
I'm starting to wonder if money that I paid on the beginning of this year was used for anything more than ppy's new gear.

I think I'll just keep what I already use =w=

It's extremely hard to get people who already use a service to change to a different that has extra feature that the average person never needs.

I've only had two problems with puush in the past: jpg image capture support and the capture area feature being somewhat temperamental. Can you fix it?

Yes...
And I can see the issue myself (actually where it's at).

By referring to capture area feature being somewhat temperamental, I suppose you are talking about its overall performance.
This is because puush renders the capture area rectangle with either unbuffered GDI, or much worse - Windows Forms (ROFL).

it works the way I expected it to for a phone

In a gallery/file viewer you touch the image you want puushed then go to the "Share" dropdown thingy and "Share with puush" and it puushes it
