Note: Gear in DJMAX glossary is skin.
That's what I'd like to see a bitmap editor for osu!mania. This, of course, a layout. Everything here is very crudely drawn, but the essence and logic of the layout editor passes. If you have questions, try to answer. Discussing.

and there is a feature request for a taiko mapping interface. if that gets added. then this most likely will as well. though to be honest, i wouldn't be surprised if ppy has all ready thought of this.

Off topic but ti would be nice if you did something like that for taiko editor too.
