I've never got it in standard build, but almost every time in the osu!shine build.
hurr just confirming that I meant my scores I have got in the public build are lost, I think though if I run the macro to open the replays in data folder will fix it..MillhioreF wrote:
Somewhat confirming! Switching from osu!shine back to the normal public build caused osu!shine to lose all local scores, but they're preserved in the public build.Zertap wrote:
also now that I went back to the current public, my local scores vanished
had that too, but remembering this quickly killed the osu!test.exe process and removed the test databases. Worked fine after it and no full process when went into the song select.MillhioreF wrote:
Just updated and ran test build, beatmap database corrupt... now it has to do a full process, this'll take a while! Will update this post with anything else I notice.
I confirm.kingking9 wrote:
Found another one:
1. Go to the Skin Select Menu
2. Let the song change by itself, or hit 'Random Beatmap'
3. 9/10 of the time, it'll just play horrible noise after flashing up a random part of a beatmap for 0.2 of a second or so
4. Sound goes back to normal as soon as you leave the skin select menu.

When I want to test map in editor then it isn't starting from beginning, just like from nearly end. And map doesn't open from 00:00 in editor.
not fixed. but don't worry, I don't think it's big issue, at worst you need to kill process and start it second time and it will be fine.peppy wrote:
I have put up a new build which may or may not fix the hang on startup issue. Please test and report back!
Artist:Doko ni MonaiSaving the map in the editor will overwrite the unicode artist name completely. This doesn't happen with the song title (works as intended.)

Found a fairly major editor bug:
-Unicode Artist seems to be handled wrongly in the editor. When importing a map with a unicode artist and opening it in the editor, the editor puts the romanized artist as the unicode artist too:

I'd like to test it but I get stuck at login, the "Logging in ..." step doesn't end (even with the public build).peppy wrote:
New build now available. Please re-test the UAC issue and anything else that may have been broken. Skin select is still broken, though.
Fixed, thanks.D33d wrote:
Slight, but bothersome issue in the editor. Currently, when I test a map, it'll only play from the last point on the timeline at which the map was saved. For instance, if I save a map in the middle and don't save it again, entering test mode from any other point in the map will launch me into the middle of a load of combos. I have to remember to save after scrolling to the desired point, even if I haven't made any changes.
The issue should be replicable, but if it isn't, then it shouldn't be too hard to figure out and it's not a huge issue for me at the moment.
I've updated the updater to hopefully fix this error for good.HakuNoKaemi wrote:
Opened osu!test.exe and after it closed to upgrade
I did authorize the access, so I think it somehow losed the authorization...
Mine corrupts on startup and does a full process when going to the song listing.peppy wrote:
- Make sure your beatmap database doesn't corrupt on startup. If it does, send me a copy.
- Make sure osu! doesn't full process your songs at startup, or when adding new osz files etc.
