I don't know how yours/ddr's/aqua's/lepi's/Ozzy's works but as long as they are reliable to the map's feeling (imagine 1★ for haya matasaitama 2000... I'd rather die than seeing this lol) it's fine.The star ratings I use usually assume the player is already accustomed to playing on Oni. If someone's just starting out, of course an 8* would seem like a 12* at first. That's why there's the lower difficulty tiers like Muzukashii.
