For the question "Are there any changes or suggestions you would propose to improve the osu! community and/or its moderation?", are you expected to argue for the changes you propose to some extent?

If your joke is less funny than it is offensive, it's probably not worth telling.

How will the applicants know the status of their application? Will they receive a message through their osu! profile or something?

I confirm that the notification will be sent via email - the same as your osu! account and the one used when filling out the form.

1. Will you be reading the applications' "ideas for changes" part in order to actually consider them?
2. How is age confirmed? Is there some form of ID check, or is another method used?

One of those questions really made me ponder quite a bit, it even made me go out of my way to ask on the form for the reader's opinion on it lol.
Good stuff, definitely show that there's some big shoes to fill on the GMT role.

In case one need to update the application, is that an option it does one have to send a new one instead (taking the newer into consideration instead of the old one)

In 2023, it also took a while for the first additions to be added, due to the process of handling the many applications and reviewing them.

hey guys,

just letting you know that the team has recently entered the discussion and voting phase of individual applicants, once we are done with evaluating all of the candidates you will be notified of your status, and given information on how to proceed based on the status of your application.

I'd also like thank you for your patience, we've had almost 250 applicants this time around, so as you can imagine it takes a bit of time to evaluate all of the applications fairly
